It is a fact that cybersecurity threats are a reality that is being addressed through various strategies and regulations. The rapid pace of technological advancement makes it necessary for these strategies to be continuously implemented.
There are various authorities responsible for this area, which makes it difficult to develop common guidelines. The Basque Government has been working in this field by creating, among other initiatives, Cyberzaintza—the Basque Cybersecurity Agency—in the area of public safety.
