The Data Protection Officer (DPO) course, delivered by Secure&Academy, the cybersecurity training centre of Secure&IT, comprises 60 hours of instruction and 150 credits per student. It is designed to provide professional specialisation in privacy from a legal, technical and organisational perspective.
The programme is delivered in a hybrid format (in-person/online), providing greater flexibility for students. It covers the regulations currently in force in the Spanish context, as well as the European and international frameworks, and explores in depth the fundamental principles governing information security. It is adapted to the Data Protection Officer (DPD) certification scheme of the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) and updated in accordance with the requirements of the LOPD.
Since 11 December 2024, this training has been recognised by the Spanish Association for the Promotion of Information Security, ISMS Forum Spain, a certification body accredited under the AEPD’s DPD certification scheme.

Senior management, current or future Data Protection Officers, lawyers and legal professionals, compliance consultants and auditors, and other professionals interested in this field.
